Four kids make a mysterious discovery on their home planet that sends them lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. Jude Law in Skeleton Crew; and even more stars from a galaxy far, far away. The holographic circus that entertains the young Neel siblings is the same Chewbacca family clock from the infamous Star Wars Holiday Special (1978). AniMat’s crazy animated film Cast: Silly Old Deadly Bear (2022). I know this show is getting a lot of hate due to the recent ups and downs of Star Wars, so I’m happy to say it’s on the upswing. So far…The first two episodes aren’t new or very original, but it doesn’t matter because everything fits together perfectly. The actors and actresses are great, the costumes/sets are probably the best we’ve seen since Andor, the writing, especially the funny banter between the kids, was good. Again, nothing new, but it’s still fascinating and I can’t wait to watch it. It gives me strong Treasure Planet vibes. Skeleton Crew surprised me with my disgust over the last few Star Wars. I hope anyone who is even slightly interested or even upset by the latest shows gives it a chance. Don’t let the "kids" language put you off. Star Wars is made for everyone, and so is this one.
