I really liked Shiloh

The floor fans in various episodes spin the wrong way, in terms of the orientation of the blades. Featured in WatchMojo: Top 10 TV Shows of 2023 You Need to Binge (2023). Just my kind of show.

I like mystery and suspense

However, I had neither read nor heard of the books that Shiloh is based on. The show is set 140 years after the apocalypse. The 10,000 people who now live in a silo, and these people have never left the silo.

They don’t even know what stars are

They do know that getting out of the silo is fatal. Some people choose to get out to learn more, but they always die. Those who stay in the silo can see through a window whenever someone wants to get out, and see how and when they die.

However, the pacing can be a bit slow, as there are a few filler episodes

Rebecca Ferguson plays the lead role of Juliette Nichols, who tries to find out what’s outside the silo and why they can’t get out without dying. They could have probably shortened the series by at least two episodes, but I don’t mind that too much, as the series as a whole is very good and takes place outside the silo!
