I went into the series with pretty low expectations and was mostly looking forward to Dexter Resurrection
The beginning of the first episode was embarrassing with the cuts and the CGI police car and I thought, “Oh man, this is going to be a flop.” By the end of the first episode, I had to give in because the actors embodied their characters perfectly and the story was very promising.
Just one episode and I’m already hooked!
While we already know most of the backstory, the first episode had a few surprises that added more depth to some of the characters we’ve come to know and love, and provided some background to the choices those characters make.
