He’s smart. He’s beloved. He’s Dexter Morgan, America’s favorite serial killer who spends his days solving crimes and his nights committing them. In Season 8, Angel Batista was not always played by David Zayas. His son David Zayas Jr. replaces his father in some shots, as the two look very much alike. Visible throughout the first season, Dexter has a large scar on his left side. Later in Season 2, the scar moved to the right side, leaving his left side without a mark. Dexter Morgan: I lived in the dark for a long time. Over the years, my eyes adjusted until the dark became my world and I could see. Performed at the 64th Annual Golden Globe Awards (2007). Theme SongWritten by Rolfe KentPerformed by Rolfe Kent This will be my first review on IMDb, there is not a day that goes by that I do not visit IMDb to check reviews of movies or series that I watch, I watch a lot of movies and series. This is the first time in my life that I could not sleep after watching a series. I watched Prison Break, Heroes and many others. Prison Break and Heroes first season were amazing. They inspired me so much that I got several tattoos on my body. However, both of these series went their separate ways as soon as the next seasons started. Heroes was a huge disappointment, but DEXTER… Oh my god, series after series makes me so curious about the next episode… damn, season 4. I just could not sleep the whole night after watching it. I spent the weekend watching the episodes back to back. First up is Dexter (Michael C. Hall) – his darkness was on the edge, he played the part so well that sometimes I wonder if he’s the same in his real life, but then I found out that Debra Morgan (Jennifer Carpenter) is his real life wife who plays his sister on the show. Damn, Debra is one of the characters who is so confused and mostly controlled by the people around her that she always ends up doing something wrong, but she always gets credit for the good things too. I love the part where you find out what’s going on in Dexter’s mind when he thinks about something or when someone talks to him, and also the part where he talks to his dead father Harry. (he just thinks what his dad would say in that situation). All the episodes/characters and seasons are so well written and acted that it’s hard to find any flaws in them. My favorite characters are Dexter (quite obvious), Rita and Vince Masuka. Damn, Vince is so funny, he only has to say one word in the whole episode and it’s fucking hilarious. I can’t wait for season 5 and I’m sure everyone who watched Dexter feels the same way I do. (Sorry if my first review had some mistakes and hurt anyone’s feelings)
