“I’m Still Here” is a powerful image of a moment in Brazilian history that traumatized many people. In a well-constructed atmosphere, the viewer is immersed in the country’s past, a past that is rejected and ignored by the country itself, and this makes the experience of watching “I’m still here” in a cinema in Brazil even stronger.

Among all Brazilian directors, Walter Salles stands out for his talented direction and interesting cinematography, and the production is truly impressive

The actors are talented, and I want to single out the young actors who certainly give the film the depth and beauty needed to make us feel the “magic of cinema”. As for the good human side present in “I’m Still Here”, it’s wonderful to see a film by a director who really understands cinema, who presents not alienated ideas, but rather pure and genuine human expression.

A wonderful film, a wonderful message and a wonderful performance by the actors

As a Brazilian, I will, of course, root for the work of Walter Salles, which will be nominated for an Oscar, but I think that the goal of making people talk about national cinema again has already been achieved.
