Media expert Muncie Daniels must fight for his innocence and his life after he stumbles upon a murder deep in the Poconos. Colman Domingo’s first major TV role. There are many elements of this series that are well done. But I just felt uncomfortable with it. There was so much about the writing, the directing, and the acting that felt awkward. At times, it is awkward. Some of the dialogue felt so unfinished and unpolished that I just shook my head. It made the story feel incomplete and shallow. I feel like I should have felt warm feelings for a lot of the characters, but I didn’t understand the techniques to make the audience care, but this is different. If it was intentional, it wasn’t executed well. If this is a new style of filmmaking, then I hope it does well.
