In season 8, Angel Batista wasn’t always played by David Zayas

He’s intelligent. He’s loving. He’s Dexter Morgan, America’s favorite serial killer who spends his days solving crimes and his nights committing them.

Dexter Morgan: I’ve lived in the dark for a long time

His son, David Zayas Jr., replaces his father in some photos, as the two look a lot alike. Dexter has a large scar on his left side that is visible throughout the first season. Later in season 2, the scar moved to his right side, leaving the left side unmarked.

Over the years, my eyes adjusted until the darkness became my world, and I saw. Dexter, a forensics expert by day, is a serial killer by night with a touch of vigilantism. Dexter paints a believable and extremely detailed portrait of a sociopath, let’s just say disturbed.

An exciting story, lots of detail and one of the best opening sequences

One of the things I love most about the show is the emotions that ordinary people display, forcing Dexter to imitate them. Have a good laugh when the emotions Dexter fakes become real and knock him out of his mind, such as in his relationship with his “girlfriend”; Rita, a mother of two and the victim of her abusive ex-boyfriend. I also liked Jennifer Carpenter’s performance as Dexter’s sister, Debra, she adds a nice touch to the show without falling into clichés.
