Tale
Charles, a retiree, gets a new lease on life by answering a private detective ad and becomes the mole in an undercover investigation at a nursing home. Based on the Chilean documentary "El Agent Popo".
What I was expecting was a comedy full of clichés about someone in hiding, his crazy antics, and so on
Loved it! Instead, we get a series about a man who not only helped others, but also helped himself heal after losing his wife.
worthy because you wanted to see how it went
This great series wasn’t full of cheesy laughs; weird lines, in some parts I felt genuinely emotional as the themes were dealt with – like a resident with memory problems. However, it wasn’t serious, which made you feel depressed or bored, enjoying the episodes, it kept you watching the series.
Who stole it, etc
The cast was great, the cinematography & locations are well done. I really hope they do another season & deliver a great mix of laughs, emotions, script, locations & actors like they did in Charles’ subsequent detective style adventures, just like in this one.
